Netflix has introduced new parental control tools for its 190 country’s subscribers, including Pakistan.
These controls include pin protected individual profiles to help prevent children from accessing them, creating filters, restrictions on specific titles, programs from showing up on an individual profile and management of what children watching on their profile by disabling autoplay.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) released a statement about new parental controls on 9th April, Thursday.
The aim is to help parents can block the specific content for their children’s watch on Netflix.
It comes at a time when children are spending more time at home during the COVID-19 lockdown.
