Riyadh: The Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has provided a major facility to visa issuing agencies, companies, and individuals before the outbreak of the coronavirus.

According to Arab media, the Saudi Ministry in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the private entities or companies that issued work visas and those visas were not used or the visas were affixed to passports but workers unable to travel due to suspension of international flights, such persons can also withdraw visa fees and cancel visas.

According to the Ministry of Human Resources, the Saudi government has provided this facility to reduce the negative impact of precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

A spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources says it wants public and private institutions to be less affected by the epidemic.

The Ministry of Human Resources is working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Finance and the National Information Center to provide this facility.

From the date of March 18, 2020, till now Visa attachments on passports that have not yet been used can be withdrawn and revoked.
